Mental Health First Aid (MHFA)
Mental Health First Aid is an evidence-based training program adapted by the National Council for Mental Wellbeing that teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges.
The training gives you the skills to provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use challenge or experiencing a crisis.

Adult MHFA
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among adults.

Youth MHFA
Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand. and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among children and adolescents ages 12-18.

teen MHFA
Teens ages 15-18 will learn how to support a friend or classmate by teaching them evidence-based practices in teen Mental Health First Aid (tMHFA) course. *1 IN 5 teens in the United States will experience a mental health challenge by the time they are 18.

3- Ways To Learn
In Person
Learners will receive their training via an Instructor-led, in-person course with other learners.
Blended
Learners complete a self-paced online course and participate in Instructor-led training.
Instructor-led
Learners will receive their instructor-led training via video conference/virtual. Or in-person class.
